See what your ETFs really own
Two funds with different names can hold the same stocks twice. Pick 2 to 4 ETFs and this free X-Ray shows the overlap percentage for every pair, every holding they share, and your true combined exposure to each stock, all computed on your device from the ETFCompare dataset.

Your true exposure
The 10 stocks your picked ETFs lean on most, combined. A holding outside a fund's recorded top 10 counts as 0 for that fund, so treat these as floors too.

How overlap is calculated
- The overlap formula. For a pair of ETFs, overlap is the sum, over every holding that appears in both funds' recorded top-10 lists, of the smaller of the two weights. Two funds holding the exact same top 10 at the same weights score 100; funds sharing no top-10 holding score 0.
- Top-10 holdings only. The dataset records each fund's top-10 holdings as published by etfdb, not the full portfolio. Overlap computed on top-10 lists is a floor: holdings ranked 11 and below can only add overlap, never remove it. The same method produced the overlap figures published on ETFCompare itself.
- Equal weighting. Combined exposure averages a holding's weight across your picked ETFs, counting 0 for a fund whose recorded top 10 does not include it. If you hold your ETFs in very unequal amounts, your personal exposure differs; the X-Ray shows the equal-weight picture.
- Some funds have no top-10 table. etfdb does not publish an equity-style top-10 holdings table for many bond and commodity ETFs. For those funds the X-Ray says so plainly and computes no overlap, rather than guessing one.
- Snapshots, not live data. Fund facts (fees, returns, yields) are the ETFCompare dataset snapshot of Sep 15, 2026. The top-10 holdings were pulled from etfdb on Oct 22, 2026, using the same method as the dataset's own build. Weights drift, so re-check before you act.
- Not investment advice. Past returns are recorded history, not a promise. This tool does arithmetic on recorded data; it does not recommend buying or selling any fund.
